MyCooki ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Andrew Tierling. Our website is mycooki.com. You can contact us at support@mycooki.com for any privacy-related questions.

What data we collect

Account data: your email address when you register.
Recipe data: recipes you convert and save, including any URLs, text, or images you submit for conversion.
Payment data: if you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never see or store your full card details.
Cookidoo credentials: if you connect your Cookidoo account, your session cookie is stored in encrypted form (AES-256-GCM). We never store your Cookidoo password.
Usage data: number of recipe conversions used.

How we use your data

To provide and improve the MyCooki service.
To manage your account and subscription.
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset).
To convert recipes using AI (your recipe content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing).

Third parties

Supabase — database and authentication (EU region).
Stripe — payment processing.
Anthropic — AI recipe conversion.
Resend — transactional email delivery.
Vercel — web hosting.

We do not sell your data to any third party.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@mycooki.com. Recipes are deleted immediately and permanently upon your request.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights contact us at support@mycooki.com.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email.
